I really like staying here. A Starbucks, liquor store, convenience store, gym, and great restaurants are all within about 500 feet. I've only taken my rental car to my job site and back. The rooms are nice, the service is good, and the location is great.

We were in Charlottesville for my son's surgery, and the hotel was very convenient for getting to the hospital. It was also easy to walk to lunch, dinner, and a wonderful bakery. Late at night we realized the AC wasn't working, but the staff kindly moved us to a room with AC. We slept great.

The rooms were nice and had a microwave and fridge. I drive a bus, though, and this place is tough to manage in one. They roped off a parking spot, but getting in and out was brutal. The portico is too low for the bus, so I had to make a three-point turn onto a busy street on the University of Virginia campus. The hotel has a nice, free breakfast. I'd enjoy staying here in a car.

We stayed here for early appointments at UVA. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and breakfast was pretty dang good. Seems perfect for anything in Charlottesville. Give it a try!

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The bedding was extremely dirty, with several kinds of strange hair on it. The remote was broken, the water pressure was very weak, and the front desk didn't properly address our concerns. Staff there were rude, absent, and unhelpful, with little basic courtesy. They were stingy with the already meager snacks, too. We couldn't even get two bottles of water! I reported everything to Hilton, but they don't seem to care. Hilton should consider dropping Hampton Inn from its portfolio. We checked out and moved to the Omni Hotel, five minutes away. The Omni was very clean, and they genuinely care about their customers.
