English Inn of Charlottesville

This inn gave my family the clean rooms and good service I look for when choosing a place to stay. We were greeted with a smile in the lobby, and breakfast was incredible, with tons of options. It’s a cozy place where we felt safe sleeping, even though it isn’t a four-star resort. The location is decent too, close to the mall and lots of places to eat. I’d recommend it.

I loved this quirky little place. It’s a bit worn around the edges, but the rooms are clean and there’s a welcoming sitting area with a fireplace in the lobby. The suits of armor and big chandeliers give it character. The heated swimming pool was nice, and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel.

The pool is a nice size, goes up to 4.5 ft, and was clean. You’re close to nearby activities, though traffic noise can be a bit loud. I guess that’s common for hotels in the heart of town. Breakfast is a large buffet with a few more choices than usual, and the coffee is decent.

I spent one night here with my dog while traveling from NY to Florida. It’s a quiet, convenient stop when you’re traveling with a four-legged friend. The lobby feels welcoming, and the rooms are clean, cozy, and inviting. Breakfast was included, with lots of choices, and it was delicious. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend it.
