Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Charlottesville North

The room smelled foul and was dirty, and the pool had been out of service for days. Customer service was a joke. They charged me a completely different amount than they'd told me, and I felt taken advantage of. With what they charge, they shouldn't argue with a customer instead of issuing a refund.

Autumn was working the front desk on a busy Saturday in March 2026 and made a great impression. She was personable, kind, and efficient. Our room was quiet and clean, and breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this location when visiting Charlottesville!

The sheets were dirty, and there was pubic hair in the tub. The pool gave me a yeast infection. They quoted me $127, but charged over $200, including an extra $100 six days later. My husband is on Disability, and they took it upon themselves to charge whatever they wanted. This place is nasty.

The service was great, and I'd stay again. My points posted on the same day I checked out, a first for me in over 500 Marriott nights. Usually Marriott properties post them three days later. The bed also had the two feather pillows it should have, which so many hotels don't provide.
