We needed somewhere to live quickly and thought this would work out. We’ve moved since, and now pay less for a real apartment with three times the space. I’d tell people to avoid this place. The apartment itself had leaks inside from the living room and bedroom windows, as well as water coming through the lights. We also found roaches under the fridge. Staff said they couldn’t deal with it for several days, so we had them in the kitchen, living room, and bathroom. My fiancée even had one on her while she was closing the shower curtain. The dishwasher quit after three days, and the outlets were so loose we couldn’t plug anything in. The garage and common areas were a mess, too. Sometimes we couldn’t get into the garage because staff and their significant others were smoking by the door, and they gave us attitude when we asked to get through. Trash was scattered around the trash room, and the smell got into our car. The side door was often left open, people parked in our paid space, and there was a $200 charge for being caught putting anything other than cardboard in the recycling bin. The elevators took ages and didn’t work properly. There was also a $50 charge for being caught holding an elevator door, even though staff held the doors open for a long time while cleaning the floor. If friends left on bad terms, they were banned. We saw a security guard come out with a staff member and break up their plans to grill. Packages were sometimes denied even when we had delivery proof. We were really excited at first. It seems like a great community with lovely people, until you have to deal with the front desk.
