We had to work in the common area before check-in, and it felt homey inside with a lovely view of the city, river, and mountains. The place has cabin vibes, yet it’s less than 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. We came for a concert, but the stay ended up being the highlight. The customer service phone line was helpful, the hot tub had strong jets and a little waterfall feature, breakfast was delicious, and our room was cozy and clean. We’re already planning another little getaway here.

The balcony had a beautiful view, and the room was clean and nice. It was quiet where we were, and the shower had good pressure. I liked having appliances in the room, though I couldn’t find any coffee cups. The bed was too soft and dipped in the middle, but the covers and pillows were comfortable.

The setting is tucked away and very quiet, with private balconies and a great view. The rooms are quaint and newly decorated, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was a nice hot spread, with unlimited coffee and even a Keurig in the room. We didn’t use the pool or either of the two big hot tubs, but they’re there. I’d definitely recommend this location.

From our balcony we watched white-tailed deer and wild turkey wandering over the grassland each evening. It felt magical. The Tennessee River view is breathtaking, and the beautifully landscaped setting has a romantic, charming feel. We’ll be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Rachel and Ken made our weekend getaway especially enjoyable. Rachel served delicious breakfasts and shared lots of stories about the area, while Ken kept the grounds clean and deiced. The cottage was quaint, comfortable, and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Lookout Mountain Inn.
