The Waymark Chattanooga, Tapestry Collection By Hilton

The rooftop bar was a highlight, with incredible views. My room was quiet, comfortable, and well cared for, so it was easy to relax. The Waymark feels distinctive and thoughtfully put together, and you can see the pride and attention to detail across the property. It’s especially interesting that this building used to be a bank. The renovation keeps many original features while mixing in a modern design that still feels authentic. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to people visiting Chattanooga.

I’m already planning to make The Waymark my regular Chattanooga stay. The staff, from valet to the front desk and everyone in between, were warm, helpful, and clearly proud of the place. The rooms balance the old building’s character with modern comforts, and thoughtful touches in the layout and lighting made it easy to relax. The 1927 bank building is gorgeous, with original marble and brass throughout. Iris Rooftop sits above downtown and has incredible views and a big-city feel. There’s also a speakeasy planned for opening next week inside the original bank vault downstairs. It’s a striking, very cool idea. The whole experience was flawless, 100000/10. The Waymark feels like luxury with direction.

Opening weekend made the whole trip feel special, like being part of Chattanooga coming back to life. We brought our dog, which was easy since the hotel is dog friendly. The valet team became like friends, checking in about our plans and offering suggestions. The rooms and bathrooms were immaculate, the beds comfortable, the TVs had full access, and the modern bathroom had great hot water and shower pressure. We could walk to lots of downtown activities. The rooftop Irish bar was a highlight: the food arrived quickly and was excellent, especially the sliders, some of the best I’ve had. The city views are said to be the best around, and there were rooftop fire pits with table service. The basement speakeasy in the old bank vault was carefully designed, beautiful, sophisticated, and moody. Amazing trip. We hope to come back every year. 10/10, I really didn’t want to go home. Iris, high above the hotel, was a delight. The menu hit the mark, and Madi and Elllatt behind the bar answered all our questions and gave flawless service. From the minute I arrived, Ethan was eager to carry my bag and point out local amenities. He’s a budding concierge. What an amazing hotel and perfect stay. I’d move out and start a new life here if it weren’t for the centuries of ancestors buried on the property.
