Secrets on Main Bed & Breakfast

The little things made this stay special, from homemade cookies and soft towels to cozy beds, pillows, gorgeous quilts, and beautifully arranged breakfast tables. There was cold water and space in the fridge for leftovers, and everything was spotless. Ann’s homemade strawberry jelly was my favorite part of a delicious breakfast. We stayed in the Double Bubble Room, with fun vintage décor, a roomy private bathroom right next door, and our own balcony. Netflix and Amazon Prime were nice extras. The house has lots of charming spots, but we especially liked relaxing and reading on the covered porch. Mark and Ann are such thoughtful hosts and made us feel at home. We can't wait to return.

The house has a lot of history, and Ann and Mark were so welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Mark grinds his own coffee and has some lovely woodworking on display, with pieces available to buy. We were lucky to meet some wonderful guests and enjoyed having a few drinks together on the porch. If you're traveling near Cheboygan or Mackinac, we highly recommend staying here.

This is a really distinctive pre-1900 house, full of wonderful décor, and each room has its own theme and personality. Our short stay was lovely. The hosts were very kind, easy to talk to, and attentive to what guests needed. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and nicely presented, well above par each day. They also accommodated food allergies, which mattered a lot to us. I'd happily recommend a stay here and hope we get to return.

The rooms are comfortable and each one feels unique. Ann and Mark are kind, accommodating hosts who think of every detail. We loved the homemade cookies and breakfast, and the four-person Surrey quadracycle was a fun bonus. Mark's woodworking and Ann's art are beautiful. We want to come back and stay longer so we can enjoy the place more. Such a pleasant little treasure.
