Hampton Inn Buffalo-Airport / Galleria Mall

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise this visit. They had the usual items plus hash browns that were tasty and not oily, unlike many I've had. The last time we'd stayed here, breakfast was only passable. Jarrett, a GM, was kind too, telling us about local happenings. We went to a couple of festivals nearby and enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to stay another night, but the hotel was fully booked. We've stayed here before, and this time was phenomenal, thanks to Keyahnah and Jarrett. We were put in an accessible room without knowing the shower was curbless, and after showering the water flooded the bathroom and hallway. Manager Keyahnah came up to assess it herself and moved us to another room, warning that it might not have a microwave. She must have noticed my disappointment, because she found a solution and carried a microwave to the other suite. That kind of commitment to making guests comfortable really impressed us.

We got complimentary coffee and cookies at check-in, and the coffee was very good. Breakfast had a nice variety, was good, and stayed clean and well stocked at the self-serve station. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and getting on and off US 90 was easy.

We had a pleasant stay, with good breakfast, easy access to the expressway and places to eat, and very positive, friendly staff. The room was completely satisfactory. It showed a little wear in a few spots, but nothing was an issue. Wear is normal, and in my opinion it doesn't yet need a remodel. Hallway and door sounds were a bit annoying, though it was just building noise, with no partying or anything. If we're back in the area, we'll stay here again.

On my first visit, I booked through the app for 3 pm but arrived at 5 pm because of traffic. The room wasn't ready. The woman cleaning it was nearly finished and asked for a few minutes to gather towels. She apologized and said a flight delay had caused many guests to check out late. When I went out for food, I noticed the door didn't lock behind me. The room lock hadn't been set in the app. At the desk, a man offered to switch rooms, but my things were inside and it was clean, so I just asked him to set the lock. He did, without apologizing. As a Hampton honor member, I was also supposed to be offered a complimentary drink or snacks, but wasn't. The door stuck and had to be pulled shut. Breakfast was terrible, with many items missing and poor restocking both days: no coffee cups, no milk, and other things. When I mentioned it, the woman at the desk acted bothered. The convenient location was the only good part. I've stayed at many Hampton properties, and this was my worst experience. Next time in Buffalo, I'll find another hotel. 11/3/25- I tried again because my employer has a corporate rate here. The front desk staff were still very unpleasant. I had to check in at the desk because the app again hadn't updated with my key. Maybe they don't like that option at this hotel, or maybe it's lack of training. This is the only property where I've had that problem. The room was fine, and breakfast was okay since it was less busy this time.
