The rooms are clean and comfortable, and I plan to stay here again. The missing in-room coffee maker is the one thing that knocked off a star for me. There’s a 24/7 brew-on-demand machine in the lobby, but I like to make coffee when I get out of bed, then crawl back in and drink it while I wake up. I don’t want to get dressed, walk to the lobby, and carry it back. Coffee matters a lot to me. It’d be nice if they could provide a maker for guests who ask. I guess I’ll bring a thermos and fill it the night before.

Nearly everyone was extremely friendly to me, except for two people. I know my appearance can be disorienting, but after I’d given you $4000, the least you could do was get up and look for the item that might or might not have been in lost and found. I also tried several times to start a conversation, but Mason and the night audit guy weren’t friendly. I could tell they didn’t like me because of how I look.

There’s plenty of parking, plus an indoor pool and hot tub and a fitness area. Breakfast was decent, though the choices were limited, and the coffee service machine was nice. The property seems to have had a recent decor upgrade. My room had high ceilings, a comfortable king-size bed, and a practical layout with conservative design choices. Super impressed with the quality.

The breakfast was great, and everything was clean and well kept. They even had oatmeal that day, and the breakfast hostesses were very good. Check-in was friendly, and she suggested a few dinner ideas. Too bad Farmhouse was closed, though she said they had the best hard cider. We were driving from Michigan to San Jaun Is, and this was our fourth hotel night. We’ve stayed exclusively at IHG hotels, and this was definitely the best place yet. We only stayed one night. Stay here, you won’t be sorry!
