I didn't feel safe or valued as a guest. The room was poorly maintained, the linens were stained, and I could hear every sound from the elevator, even though it was five doors away. Tony at the desk was incredibly rude. Management seems to take feedback lightly. Looking at older Google reviews, all they seem to do is acknowledge the complaints. The place felt unsafe, loud, and dirty.

I left some jewelry behind when I checked out and called the front desk. They told me housekeeping hadn't reported finding anything. For a hotel that considers itself a wedding venue, you'd think the staff would be more honest.

There isn't much room for clothes or luggage: the room has just one drawer, and nowhere to set your suitcase. You and your partner or family are basically stuck living out of your bags. The beds are extremely soft, so anyone with back problems should look elsewhere. The bathroom seems to be the hotel's big selling point. It's been updated, but it's quite small and has only a shower stall with sliding glass doors, no bathtub. There's a restaurant on site instead of continental breakfast, and you can add breakfast there for $10 per person.

The staff kept food warm and brought refills throughout our events, and everyone was friendly, polite, helpful, and professional. They made our large family group feel welcome and helped with catering and setting up drinks to suit the time of day and occasion. We held our biannual family reunion here, with relatives driving in from around the country for three days and two nights. Friday check-in came with appetizers and alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. On the second evening we had a Hawaii-themed dinner with lots of options, then on the third morning there was a goodbye brunch with pastries, pancakes, sausage, bacon, biscuits, orange juice, tea, and coffee. I'd gladly stay here again when traveling through New Jersey. 😊
