Everyone I dealt with was really nice, from the front desk person with the lovely smile to maintenance staff helping families carry luggage upstairs. During the power outages, rooms filled up quickly, so I was glad we called ahead. Our room was cool when we arrived, and maintenance will start cooling it as you check in if needed. The bed was comfy, linens were clean, the AC was cold, and the blackout curtains worked great. There’s a mini fridge and microwave, plus a great TV with HBO. I checked carefully and found no bugs. The parking lot was clean, secure, and well lit. It backs up to the zoo and is near Posada's, a donut shop, and other places to eat. Thanks for a cool, comfortable room during a difficult time.

Stay somewhere else if you want a nice place. The motel has roaches, and if you complain, the owners say you brought them with you. They’re also known to go into rooms after guests leave and take their belongings. Some rooms have bed bugs, too. The owners are very rude.

The motel was really dirty, and the owner was among the rudest, least friendly people I’ve met. I wouldn’t recommend staying there. I can only give it one star because the system won’t let me leave none. I’d give it zero.

If your budget is tight and you need a room, this is the cheapest place, at $45 a night with a $5 deposit. The AC isn’t great in every room, so check it first. They could use a housekeeper, so if you or someone you know needs a job, maybe ask here. If you can spend more, treat yourself and go somewhere else.

It’s way out in the middle of nowhere, and the rooms are old and shabby. The people running the place are very rude.
