Hampton Inn St. Louis/Chesterfield

We were there for 10 nights and everything went smoothly from check-in through checkout. The rooms were spacious, updated, and clean, and housekeeping was friendly and checked whether we needed anything. Kaitlyn, Stephanie, Aaron, and Brett at the desk were all wonderful, while Mary and Gabe kept breakfast running easily. The food was hot and fresh, and they were happy to get something if you asked. We’ll be back in June and will stay at the valley location again.

I'm here for one night, and I've already had to move rooms. The first-floor room was so bad that I asked to be switched. This third-floor room is a little less affected, but there's still mold. Water damage shows on the walls and ceiling, the carpets are covered in it, and the air vents have a thick layer. Management clearly knows about the problem. Keeping the building open and charging guests feels morally bankrupt. Reservations should be paused until the mold is remediated and whatever caused the damage is fixed. I'm taking an extra puff from my inhaler before trying to sleep through the coughing tonight.

After 21 days driving from California to Chicago, my husband and I were worn out and just wanted a good room. Ashley welcomed us at check-in with a treat for our dogs, then introduced us to Aida, who warmly helped us find our room. Both were kind, professional, and full of warmth and smiles. They made such an impression that we decided we’ll stay at Hampton Inns on future trips. I retired from the education system after 30 years, so I know how much effort good service takes. Ashley and Aida are real stars at the front desk. Thank you both, and I wish you all the best.

I was in town for work, and the staff made the stay feel welcoming from the moment I arrived. The rooms seemed a little dated, but the service more than made up for it. Ms. Thompson, who works breakfast, especially stood out. She showed up smiling every day, even on holiday Mondays, and somehow anyone who came in frowning left in a better mood. The company should recognize her hospitality. When I’m in saint louis again, I’ll book here because of her.
