The fresh, soft sheets and updated room made the bed feel brand new. I’d definitely stay here again.

Other guests told me they’d stayed here three years running and that the hot tub had always been bad, with the manager refusing to raise the temperature. That matches my experience. I booked this hotel for the hot tub, but the water was barely lukewarm. I asked the front desk about turning it up, and the employee said the manager wouldn’t allow it and hadn’t given her the key to access it. She said the manager’s reason was that hotter water would be dangerous for kids. That seems ridiculous to me, since I’ve seen children use 100 degree hot tubs at many other US hotels without an issue. It feels like the hotel just doesn’t want to pay for the electricity to heat it. The manager later replied by repeating the kids’ safety explanation. I’ll say again, the water was barely lukewarm. After sitting in it for more than ten minutes, you’d start getting cold and need to get out. You can decide whether that sounds like a safety measure or a way to cut costs. As far as I’m concerned, this hotel doesn’t really have a hot tub, and it shouldn’t be listed as an amenity.

A big, clean, quiet room and a comfortable bed. The front desk clerk was really friendly and knew the area well. There are lots of restaurants next door, and downtown is just minutes away. It’s a Best Western, and they were ready to put up the new sign.

The rooms were excellent, and the people were very nice.
