The room was disgusting as soon as I walked in, and I asked for a refund, but management refused. I had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back. Don't stay here. The rooms are gross and impossible to stay in, and management will steal from you.

I needed a room at midnight, and everywhere else was full. The woman who helped me was really nice, and it was quiet, which I liked. The room wasn't in great shape, and I've paid a lot less for rooms in better condition, so I think I overpaid, though it's not a big deal. They had vacancies when no one else did. I'd stay again if I needed to.

As soon as I pulled the covers back, I spotted bed bugs. I went to the office, but the person walked away from me and turned out the lights. There was no refund or even an apology. The inside isn't updated, and I was there last night. I'm taking the appropriate action against this place until it shuts down completely.

After trying a couple of motels in Decatur, I sadly came to the conclusion that they're all rundown. The options seem to be driving 45 minutes to Springfield or Champaign, or walking away without a refund. The owners get used to customers reacting with shock to the condition, believe it or not.

I only came here to pick up a friend. This is one of the oldest hotels in Decatur, Illinois, and I wouldn't stay there myself.
