I paid 140 dollars for my child to use a room from 8 am to 5 pm so she could sleep before returning to work at 6. She’s a first responder on the overnight shift and was still in uniform when she arrived, but staff wouldn’t check her in and said she’d have to wait for the manager. I’d called ahead, explained the situation, and was assured it wouldn’t be a problem because there were plenty of empty rooms. I’d already booked and paid. The manager showed up shortly before 11. When I spoke with her, she said it wasn’t her problem and told me I could find another hotel if I didn’t like the wait, and good luck getting my money back. I told her my child was tired and needed sleep, and she again said it wasn’t her problem. She explained she’d been late because she had to pick up groceries, and that the desk employee didn’t know how to check people in. This wasn’t a room availability issue.

The booking and check-in went well, the room was excellent, and the location was great. Check-out was just as good. My only letdown was breakfast, which had fewer options than I expected. I’m not sure if that was because it was Monday or if that’s what they serve every day. Sorry, I didn’t take any photos.

The room was clean, and we slept comfortably in the bed. They’ve remodeled the rooms recently, and they look very nice. The rest of the motel is still being renovated. We’ve stayed here several times, so I know the place.

The room was comfortable, clean, and nice, and check-in was friendly and helpful. They clearly care about their guests. Much better than the last hotel we stayed in. Great job, y’all!

She was rude to several customers and kept saying it wasn’t her problem. The manager refused to help people and left a young EMT sitting in the lobby for hours while she lay there on her phone.
