Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chesterfield by IHG

The staff were friendly, and my standard room was quite spacious with a mini fridge that held much more than the tiny ones that fit only four cans. Breakfast was okay, nothing more. There is a pool, but it was closed. The elevator shuddered each time it stopped, which unsettled me enough that I started taking the stairs. Adequate overall.

The room was nice and quiet, and the front desk employee was very professional once he came out. At first, though, it looked closed on a Saturday evening: it was dark, there were no cars, and we waited quite a while at the desk trying to figure out if it was open. In the bathroom, there was a huge poop stain along the inside edge of the toilet, visible only once you got into the shower, plus long black hairs stuck to the tank.

The rooms have recently been remodeled. We celebrated our small wedding here on Valentine's Day, and it was beautiful. Thanks to Michael, Katie, and Brittney for making the day feel extra special.

I always stay here for work. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. The breakfast attendant puts real effort into making the complimentary breakfast better than at some other Express hotels. They even have freshly ground coffee, which is wild.
