Fairfield Inn & Suites Cheyenne

I was here for a few weeks working remotely in energy and never got a good night's sleep. The walls and floors are thin, so you hear people going up and down the stairs. The breakfast was okay, though I can't eat that kind of food anymore. It's probably a little better than the nearby Travelodge, which is kind of deplorable, but this place is noisy and feels expensive for an 1980s building. I can't believe it's supposed to be any kind of Marriott hospitality. There seem to be other options in Cheyenne, though the motels all seem pretty terrible. Anyway, go Trump 2028. Merry Christmas, and live long and prosper.

We chose this place mostly because of the price when my wife and I came for an eyeglass appointment. We'd stayed here before and just signed up for Marriott Rewards. We'll definitely come back.

We enjoyed the pool and the breakfasts were great. The staff were very nice, and the hotel was quiet and well located for exploring town.

Mike at the front desk was friendly and helpful, even giving my husband pizza menus and coupons after we asked about delivery. Our request for a first-floor room didn't work out, but we ended up really liking room #218. It was spacious and very clean, including the mirrors, corners, and fridge. The bed was comfortable, with super soft pillows. The exterior looked dated when we pulled up, I'll admit I judged it too quickly. Breakfast was abundant and ridiculously good. The coffee was eye-rollingly good, and we both thought the biscuits were the best we'd ever had. Please tell us where you get them! The location is excellent for I-25, with lots of restaurants nearby. The bath drained very slowly, which I reported the next morning to a young woman whose name I can't remember, and she noted it. Staff, cleanliness, breakfast, and room comfort made this a five-star stop for us on the way west. If you're in Cheyenne, Wyoming, this is the place we'd choose.
