We had a great time staying here with my girlfriend. For our anniversary, they gave us chocolates and a bottle of wine, and the service was good. The room was clean, too. The nightlife nearby surprised me, there was so much to do. I recommend eating at Meli, and I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely room overlooking the city, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Blue and Orange lines are a few minutes away, and it’s a short walk to the park and lake. There are nice little cafes and coffee shops around the corner. The centre and Chinatown are easy to get to.

The cold, snowy weather made us wish there’d been somewhere to hang wet or sweaty clothes, gloves and scarves. Even so, my wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Blake Hotel in Chicago. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, and we could walk to nearly every popular spot in the Loop. Our room was cozy, modern and well equipped, with a small fridge and microwave. One of the best parts was the Meli café inside the hotel. It felt like a cozy dining room at home, so we didn’t have to bundle up and head outside for breakfast. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly, attentive and always smiling. Martina, Boyana and Nikita took excellent care of us at our tables. We give the hotel and café five stars.

The bathroom lighting was the one real downside. It only came from the mirror, and even turned up all the way it was still pretty dim. Otherwise, Hotel Blake was a great deal. The location was nice, the room was really nice, and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

The hotel’s facilities and services were satisfactory, but the Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare team seriously affected our experience. We were misled into attending a timeshare presentation, and ended up paying for an Uber and losing a significant amount of valuable vacation time. After spending that time and money based on misleading information, we were told we didn’t qualify. The whole process felt like a waste and left us feeling deceived. This practice is unacceptable and should be taken seriously. I strongly urge the hotel management team at Blake to review and address these situations because they damage the hotel’s reputation, credibility and guests’ trust.
