Jaslin Hotel

We mainly needed somewhere to sleep, get ready, and leave our things, and this place worked fine for that. The front desk staff were friendly, the beds were comfortable, and there was hot water. It’s a good choice if you don’t need extras or fancy touches. Trains are easy to reach with a short walk to the red line, which connects to other lines. We also had fun checking out the China Town shopping and food strip, with lots of great food options.

The bedding issue was bad enough, but the lack of any follow-up or apology made this stay completely unacceptable. In the morning, at 7:30, I spent more than 20 minutes trying to check out. No front desk staff were there, and nobody answered the hotel phone, the in-room phone, or housekeeping, despite the claim of a 24-hour front desk. Earlier, I found blood stains on the sheets. They clearly hadn’t been changed. The front desk did nothing until I called the manager myself and demanded a room change. This is a serious health and sanitation issue. Avoid this hotel. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

My original hotel booking was cancelled the day I was meant to stay, so I ended up booking this place. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The metro is really close and gets you to the Loop in under ten minutes. The neighborhood also felt very safe, with lots of great restaurants. It’s not a new hotel, but the bed was fine and everything worked as it should. For a place to sleep, it wasn’t bad.

The food choices nearby were great, and getting around by public transportation was easy. We were in town mainly for shows at the Radius, just a ten-minute walk away. We had a great stay at Jaslin and would definitely book again.
