The suites are spacious, clean, and just right for two, and the area was very walkable. My husband and I stayed while looking for an apartment in Andersonville. It's a peaceful gem near Andersonville/Edgewater, with clear instructions, cheap parking, and lovely hosts. We'd stay again.

Kate offered to keep our bikes in the garage so they'd be safe while we rode the Lakeshore path. The hosts were thoughtful, and the carriage house room was clean with easy check-in and check-out. We had a great experience and would highly recommend the place. Next time we're in the area, we'd definitely stay again if it's available.

The studio itself was perfect, simple, clean, and quiet. The garage parking was another story. I strongly recommend against buying it. Getting in was nearly impossible because the alley is narrow and the space is tight. They say a Toyota sienna fits snugly, which is true, but don't mention that the side where it fits has none of their personal stuff stacked there, and there are no dumpsters in the alley in front of it. It took about a thousand point turn and a second person to get my car inside without hitting anything. It was such a struggle that we left it there all weekend. If your vehicle is larger than a Subaru crosstrek, you will not fit.

The front yard and courtyard between the main house and carriage house, where the room is, were beautifully landscaped. My room was charming, clean, modern, and had everything I needed. The red line station is very close, and there are shops and restaurants within walking distance, with the lake only a few blocks away. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back!
