Stan Mansion Suite

My wife and I went to the Candlelight Tribute to Taylor Swift by the Metropolis String Quartet for date night, and we absolutely loved it. The quartet was amazing, the venue looked gorgeous, and the staff were top shelf. Highly recommend!

The Metropolis String Quartet sounded incredible in the grand ballroom. Their playing had rich, resonant harmonies that seemed to carry through the wooden floors, and the musicians balanced classical precision with a contemporary feel. The performance was full of nuance and intensity, and I was spellbound. The candlelight made the room feel golden and intimate. Stan Mansion is a historic Logan Square landmark, and walking in feels like stepping into another time. It was once a Masonic temple, with majestic columns, detailed crown molding, and soaring ceilings. The architecture, music, and flickering flameless candles made for a magical evening, much more than just a concert.

Parking was the one challenge, since there weren’t many spots around. Inside, the mansion felt warm and elegant, just right for a concert. The staff welcomed everyone kindly and kept things organized. I enjoyed the candlelight concert, and the event was well managed.

I’ve been to this lovely Logan Square spot a few times, once for a wedding and twice for Candlelight Concerts. The architecture is beautiful, and there are a couple of bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs.
