The Greenleaf House

We'd use this house again when family comes with us to Chicago. It was within walking distance of them, and the big downstairs area felt welcoming. The inside was much cleaner once we got in, though the outside porch and lawn could use some attention, and the old house's exterior could look better. The shared bathrooms were clean and spacious, but there were no cups for water at night. Our bedroom carpet had stains, and there were no washcloths. They said bottles of water were downstairs, but I didn't see any. It's a charming old house, and thanks for the stay.

Had a great time here with my partner. The room got a little hot in the morning, but they fixed it fairly quickly. A few things around the house need repairs, but it's gorgeous, very clean, and well equipped. I enjoyed the stay and will be back for more time here ♡.

The booking was quick and easy, with no stress, and staff are available any time if you need help. This place has been a real godsend while I move from one apartment to another during a relocation. It’s been phenomenal.

Greenleaf House worked well for my one-night stay. The room was clean, the shared facilities were good, and check-in was helpful. I found it comfortable and convenient. I was grateful to get a spot on the front pad, since finding street parking in the neighborhood would have been VERY difficult if the spaces were full. I also thought breakfast items might be provided, but with long-term guests around, I couldn’t tell which food was theirs and which was available.
