I live nearby and had heard good things about Guesthouse, so I booked accommodations for a VIP while organizing an annual holiday fundraiser. Guesthouse was enthusiastic about supporting the cause, and the suite was INCREDIBLE, with loads of space and a stunning look. I also love how much they support local vendors. Check out the treat basket on the counter. We’re lucky to have Guesthouse in the neighborhood, and I’ll come back for a staycation.

We had a lovely long weekend and will be back. The rooms had plenty of amenities and felt thoughtfully put together. The location was convenient, and comfort was excellent. It was just right for us.

We picked this place because we like browsing antique, comic, and record shops, and the neighborhood was perfect for that. There are lots of bars and restaurants close by, plus The Green Door is an easy walk if you’re after live music. The hotel has local snacks and beers at fair prices, and they even left my wife a nice birthday gift when they found out it was her birthday. Great location, very fairly priced, and a great place to stay. Give it a try!

Andersonville is a great location, with restaurants and a concert at The Rivera within walking distance. We stayed in a three-bedroom, which suited our larger family, and it was quiet and relaxing. The bedrooms were roomy and cozy, the kitchen was a good space though it lacked some basic baking pans, and the master bath’s steam shower was amazing. The beds were soft, but the master bed felt a little too broken in for us. We couldn’t get the tub in the other bathroom to fill properly. Staff were helpful and gave us good food and activity recommendations. There’s a welcoming, cozy lobby with snacks and drinks, and parking in the rear garage was really nice. I wish an iron and ironing board had been available, though the in-room washer and dryer helped make up for that. I highly recommend it and would stay again. A hidden gem.

The suites are apartment-sized, really clean, and nicely decorated, and the pillows felt like clouds. I loved having solo garage parking, too. There are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby, and the staff were friendly and knew the area well. The hotel has loads of character. Best travel experience, hands down. If I’m back in Chicago, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. 10s across the board! ❤️
