The room kept us warm, and the desk guy was kind enough to put us downstairs because of my knee arthritis. He gets five stars from me. I could park right by our room, and the pillows were fluffy, but those beds were so hard I slept better in my vehicle, lol. The bathroom needs work. There are holes in the walls, the ceiling looks like it might come down, and the hot water at the shower and sink can burn you, so be careful. The waffle maker only cooked one side, though breakfast otherwise was great. The place reminded me of the old Starlight motel when we walked into our room. Around 5:15 a.m., the smell by the south door was either a serious skunk problem or someone smoking weed. It was very strong and nauseating, so I called the manager. For what the hotel offers, I think it should cost $50 or less.

I was really well looked after, and the room was clean. The location made it easy to get to everything, too. Best sleep I’ve had in ages, the bed was comfortable even on a platform.

We paid under $100 and got a clean place, standard Super 8 breakfast options, and courteous staff. The room and sheets were clean, the bathroom was, too, and the mattress worked well for my back issues. I always check for bugs and didn’t see any, and our lock worked fine. It’s an older property, with landscaping work going on during our visit, but the staff were friendly and polite. It seemed family-run, and even their son held the door for us.

The service was excellent, and the rooms were very clean. Our bed was comfortable, and the heater ran quietly. I’d recommend staying here.

At 4:30 Saturday morning I tried to check in and leave Sunday morning, but the man at the front wanted to charge me for two nights. I walked out and would rather sleep in my car somewhere. Seems like most places around here have their own little scam.
