Hampton Inn & Suites Chincoteague Waterfront

The hotel was bright and clean throughout, and there was plenty of parking. We didn't use the pool, but breakfast was enjoyable, and the back of the hotel opens straight onto the water from the breakfast area. It's a beautiful view. We spent two nights at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chincoteague–Waterfront for a weekend visit to Assateague Island and the wild ponies. Our waterfront whirlpool room was spacious, clean, and had a wonderful balcony view. The front desk staff were welcoming, kind, and informative. Since we came on a weekend, the island shops and restaurants were open. After seeing the ponies, we found plenty nearby to explore on foot, and there's a dollar store on the way to the National Seashore. I'd recommend it for a relaxing weekend.

We came across this motel while sightseeing on the way to visit family. It was spotless, and the woman at the counter was exceptionally helpful. We'll return for a longer stay when we visit the area again, and we'll stay here because it was so clean.

Teeny, our guest room attendant, has been with the hotel for 23 years, and her warmth and care made our stay even better. She went out of her way to make us comfortable, and her dedication and service deserve recognition. I hope the hotel rewards her contributions with the compensation she's clearly earned. My husband and I stayed five nights on our first trip to Chincoteague. The view across the waterway was spectacular, and we could walk to shops and restaurants. Service from check-in through checkout was outstanding.

There's a dock out back. Our room was clean and modern, the staff were pleasant and helpful, and breakfast was as expected, with hot food served hot and fresh. The eating area and food stations were clean too.
