I've been coming to Chincoteague every year for more than 30 years and have stayed at nearly every hotel at different times of year. My stay at the Comfort Suite this year was the best so far.

The night clerk, a man, was awful. I needed a blanket and he told me to come get it from the office. I explained that I was handicapped and asked him to bring it to my room. He yelled that he was the only employee on site and I had to pick it up myself. The sheets were worn and tattered, the HVAC was abysmal, and the lighting was poor.

We had an excellent balcony view of the waterfront and docks, and the rooms were clean. The setting right on the water is beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and ready to help when we needed something. Breakfast was included and beat Hampton Inn. A very sweet woman looked after the little restaurant.
