The rooms were clean and set up for longer stays, with utensils, plates, bowls, and cups. Breakfast was included and great, the hotel was very quiet, and the staff were attentive from late-night check-in through early-morning checkout. Checkout at noon is a nice perk if you like to sleep in, and our room even had a ceiling fan. GO HOKIES! 🦃 The only drawback was the packed parking lot shared by two hotels. Staff helped us find another spot on the property that was still safe and secure. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back.

Sam at the front desk made us feel at home, and his dinner recommendation was really good. We could walk there and have a couple of drinks without driving, which was a plus. The king suite was beautiful and immaculate, and the bed was so comfortable I wanted to sleep all day. We enjoyed the stay so much that we booked the room again for our Christmas trip from Nashville to Virginia Beach. It’s almost halfway, so a perfect place to stop for the night. Thanks again, Sam. For $140 a night, I feel like they could at least provide two-ply toilet paper. I found the beds and pillows really uncomfortable, though that may just be me. I’ve learned my lesson and will bring my own pillow wherever I go. The bathroom could also use an exhaust fan.

It was one of the quietest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ll come again. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, the linens were soft and high quality, breakfast had lots of fresh options, and the pool was clean and warm.
