Red Roof PLUS+ Chula Vista

I picked this place to be near an interview, and it turned out to be a relaxing, great choice. I've stayed here before for the same reason, and it felt like a vacation. The room was quiet and clean, with comfortable beds, granite countertops, a good-sized TV and extra cable channels. There was also a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. The front desk guy was helpful during check-in and very humble. It's close to I-5, restaurants, the trolley terminal, and more. I strongly recommend it, and the price is great.

We actually left Motel 6 to stay here, and can't wait to come back for our California vacations. We're from Arizona, and the staff gave us lots of information about the location and area. Everyone was amazingly friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean, spacious, cozy, and felt safe. The water pressure is amazing, the beds are comfortable, and there's a fridge in the room and tile in the bathrooms. It could use updates, but it's family owned and you can tell they've tried hard for their guests. I'd choose it over Motel 6 any day. Parking has plenty of space. Rates could be a bit cheaper, though I understand the pricing for a hotel this size. We need a rewards program, or at least a stamp card! Don't let the 2 star rating scare you. We love this place.

We were there Sunday through Friday. The front desk clerk wasn't very friendly. Maid service was good on the first day, but terrible the next. I asked the maid to leave clean towels on the bed, but we didn't get towels, even though she clearly went into the room. We still had a brand new roll of toilet tissue. There were crumbs in the entryway that looked like toast, though we hadn't eaten in the room yet. When we checked out, so many cops were by the elevator that we could barely get on.

The newly decorated room made the stay really pleasant, and the price was perfect for what you get. It had a big flat-screen TV, microwave, and mini fridge, all the comforts of home. The room was beautiful and clean, with an amazingly comfy bed and big, fluffy towels. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and genuine. I love this place and would stay whenever I get the chance. If you want to rest and relax, I recommend checking it out.
