Budget Host Town Center Motel

It’s good aside from a couple of small annoyances. The fridge door won’t stay shut unless I prop a chair against it, but that’s not a huge deal. The remote also quit controlling the TV, which is stuck on a music channel playing all kinds of genres, from country and rock to rap and R&B.

I’ve stayed in plenty of cheap hotels, but this one wasn’t even that cheap, and it was disgusting. Nicotine was dripping down the walls, the toilet had poop on it, there was pee on the floor, and there were burn holes all over. There were at least four people who looked like fiends outside at any given time. I asked to move to a cleaned room or get a refund, but the next room had blood on the blankets and pubic hair on the toilet. I gave up and slept on the bed in my wet sleeping bag. Second worst hotel I’ve stayed in, and the price doesn’t match how filthy it was.

The beds are really uncomfortable, and the rooms need repainting. If people need a place for a week, they should offer a lower weekly rate, around $300, instead of $560. They might bring in more people that way.

The room seemed as though it had been cleaned, but there was a lot of activity in the parking lot. A security guard stayed out there all night, and I still didn’t feel very safe.
