We came to Cincinnati to see the city and tour the University of Cincinnati, which is very close by. I’m a Hilton team member and enjoyed my stay. The room was spotless, and the hotel is newer, I think built around 2023. It’s a very tall Hampton, seven floors, the tallest newer one I’ve seen. I had room #709, and the digital key and digital check-in worked smoothly, so I never needed a plastic key. The view was beautiful, especially at night, with the hills and valleys visible for a good distance. The front desk was professional and attentive when I needed more towels and soap around 8 p.m. Breakfast was standard Hampton food, but the area was clean, spacious, and organized. The breakfast lady asked how our morning was, welcomed us to the Queen City when I said we were visiting, and wished us a safe drive home as we left that morning. The area felt safe and well lit, and there’s plenty of shopping and restaurants in the Rookwood shopping plaza next door. The welcome card, snacks, and water in the room were a huge touch. My friend and I felt welcomed right away. We’ll return if we visit the Queen City again. No complaints, everyone was friendly.

I keep coming back to the pillows, which are flat and offer almost no support. I’ve stayed here several times and never managed a full night’s sleep, so I’ve started going to the Hilton Garden across the highway instead. I really like the location and that it’s the newest hotel in the area, and this would otherwise be my hotel of choice. The complaints about the sink seem too picky to me. Charging for parking around here feels ridiculous, though. Just raise the nightly rate instead. And it’s a little odd that they still have bar soap rather than liquid, but that’s a small thing.

Getting to the hotel was a little confusing because of how it appears on the map. I’d suggest fixing that, and if you’re heading there, watch for the sign. Johnathan at the front desk was so kind and helpful, and made our stay more enjoyable. My significant other and I loved how spacious, clean, and beautiful the room was. When I turned on the TV and saw my name on it, I was so hyped. The food was so good too. It was an amazing, fun, delightful stay. Thank you, Johnathan, for checking us in and helping when we needed it. Give that man a raise!

We already paid an average of $151 a night for a room that was serviced only once, and then had to pay another $10 because other people were parking there. The $10 per night parking fee is non-refundable, and this time we were also charged an unmentioned $25-per-night incidental hold, which is refundable. Do they refund the interest on my credit card? Neither fee was mentioned when I booked. I asked about it and was told local restaurants and residents use the lot for overflow parking. Okay, but why should I, as a paying hotel guest, pay to park? I appreciate the great customer service and location, at least on our visits, but this time the added fees were frustrating. It’s only ten dollars a day, but still.

We had a very nice time at the pool, and there was plenty of parking in the lot around the hotel. It costs extra, but felt really safe. The room was great, breakfast was just right, and the staff were helpful at every turn. Excellent hotel and amazing service.
