The owners were helpful, and I had no pest or mold problems in my room. Some of the marks, small cuts, and holes people mention on the bedding and curtains are there, but they were minor enough that I didn't mind. I paid $90 a night, which doesn't feel like a luxury deal, but at around $70 booked online, I'd say it's worth it. The room was about as clean as that price gets, and my stay was much better than at other motels I've been to with roaches. The busy road is the main drawback. You hear traffic all night.

The room smelled so odd I lost my appetite, and the shower pressure was so low that I refused to use it. It was hard to get a comfortable temperature, too, swinging between too hot and too cold. There were burn marks on the toilet seat and bathtub. The beds were dirty, with holes burned into the blankets, so I slept on top of the comforters. Both queen beds had only two pillows each. Duct tape covered the floors in several places. I wish I'd taken photos. Definitely don't recommend Econo Lodge. Cleanliness gets 0/5.

We cut our two-night booking short after just one night, and would have left immediately if we'd had another option. The only room available was for smokers, and the smoke hit like a choke hold as soon as we walked in. I've stayed in smoking rooms before, but this was far worse. I sprayed car deodorizer around the room and the smell still lingered. Our shoes stuck to the floor, the walls had chipped paint, and the place generally wasn't clean. The door looked like a dog had clawed at it. The heat never worked, and we spent the night in a 16 deg room with nobody at the front desk. The manager offered to move us to a non-smoking room, but by then the problems went beyond the smoke. He agreed to refund one night, but I never saw the money on my credit card. When I checked the statement, the credit had gone to a random card that wasn't mine. We booked through a third-party app, and they've tried repeatedly to reach the property without getting an answer. In response to management's feedback, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Save yourself the awful experience. We've been checking future hotel bookings three times over to avoid a repeat.

We were in town for a wedding, but the room felt too uncomfortable and unsafe, so we skipped the night and drove home. It was on the lower level, and we could hear every step from the guests upstairs. There were flies and wasps, the bathroom door wouldn't close, and the front door needed a hard shove to latch and lock. The one thing I can say in its favor is that the bathroom seems to have been renovated fairly recently. The room smelled of cigarettes and mildew, and my husband's breathing got so bad that his throat felt like it was closing. The bed didn't look anything like the Google photos. Although it was made, the sheets had brown and black stains and cuts, the pillows were yellow and tiny, and the blanket had cigarette burn holes. You get what you pay for, I guess. If comfort matters to you, skip this place.
