Claremont Lodge

Several restaurants are nearby, and the man at the front desk was friendly and really helpful. My room was orderly and very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the AC and heater both worked great. Staff cleaned and restocked it every day. I’ll definitely stay there again. Thanks, Claremont Lodge, for a great experience. Sincerely, Gregory Warner.

Check-in and checkout were quick, and there were no surprise fees or deposit. Inside, the room looked modern, clean, and organized. The service was good, with the beds made and towels replaced when needed, and the AC worked well. Bring your own shampoo, though, since the shower only has one soap dispenser. It wasn’t a big hassle. The room served its purpose well, no complaints.

For a simple overnight stay, this low-cost motel is fine if you’re not picky. The rooms are clean and recently updated, with a good bed, though the pillows were lumpy and there were only three small ones for two people. I would’ve liked extra pillows or blankets in the closet. The hairdryer was missing from the wall unit, but the manager brought us another one. There’s cheap hand soap at the sink and in the shower, but no shampoo or conditioner. Since the only other Claremont hotel is nearly $300 a night, we’ll probably come back here.

We found bed bugs and roaches in two different rooms. The stay was very uncomfortable and unsanitary, and the sheets weren’t clean. When we brought up the bugs, they were rude and unprofessional.
