The inn felt so much like home that we’ve already planned another visit in the fall. We loved reading by the water, and the views were magical. It was nice enough to have dinner on the restaurant patio by the water, and coffee was available in the lobby all day. I was glad there were gluten free options in the breakfast nook too. Clare, the resident kitty, was a fun bit of home away from home. We came from Jersey for an appointment at Union Block Tattoo, just up the street. The inn was within walking distance, and there were quiet spots for me to read while my husband was busy. The restaurant’s celiac friendly gluten free choices were a necessity for me, and all 3 meals we ate there were delicious. Our pet friendly first-floor room was beautiful and the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The bed was more comfortable than ours at home, and the interior brick walls were stunning. The inn was cozy and welcoming, with very friendly staff. We didn’t want to leave.

Such a beautiful place, and the people working there are lovely. There’s a beautiful cat who lives there too, plus a continental type breakfast in the morning and an amazing restaurant right next door. The beds were a little soft, but if that suits you, it’ll be 100% perfect. I highly recommend staying here!

The staff were wonderful, and the location worked well for what we needed. There’s a decent restaurant right next door, which was a nice bonus. The lobby, architecture, and landscaping are attractive, and the room was quaint and well appointed. Only issue was that all the electrical outlets were on one side of the bed. Good value if you’re in the area, definitely recommend.

The pet friendly room was spacious, clean, and had amazing views. They even provided a dog bed and a little goody bag with her name on it. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had great heat and pressure. The hotel is beautiful and full of history, and the restaurant was fantastic, a must. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend!

The website doesn’t show how charming this place is. The room was much nicer than I expected, and the staff were great. Most of all, it didn’t have that musty smell older hotels tend to have. I loved it here, and this will be my go-to whenever I’m in the area.
