We usually stop at a plain roadside hotel when we drive between Boston and Ohio, so finding this inn was a real treat. It’s cozy, quiet, and comfortable, with a lovely parlor that made me want to sit down with coffee and a book. Our room was peaceful, and Bradley made us feel welcome without missing a thing. Breakfast was delicious and set us up perfectly for the rest of our Christmas trip. The price was no higher than those forgettable chain hotels. Bradley, you spoiled us. We’ll look forward to staying again on our next trip.

We came for Christmas week and stayed through New Year’s Day. Breakfast was different each morning, fresh, and so good we wouldn’t have wanted to miss a day. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a fireplace, and the inn was clean and welcoming throughout our stay. It also worked well for visiting family nearby. Restaurants in Clarence Hollow and the town park are within walking distance, and Williamsville and Buffalo are a short drive away. We’re hoping to come back soon.

We came here to mark the end of our honeymoon and my birthday, and I’d always dreamed of staying in a heritage hotel. It had been hard to find one that would take our corgi, but this place welcomed our dog. We loved exploring the antique shops around Clarence Hollow, too. The old house is full of history and beautiful furnishings, and our room had books and old radio cassette tapes, a really nice touch. I was glad to find air conditioning, which other heritage hotels I’ve stayed in didn’t have. The room was also surprisingly soundproof once the door was shut. The innkeeper was attentive, and the breakfasts changed daily and were delicious. A really special place to stay.

I’ve only been here for Afternoon Tea, so I can’t speak to lunch or dinner. The classical music and atmosphere were lovely, and the finger sandwiches and scones were superb. If I remember right, they’d gone back to being a bed and breakfast that serves tea.

The owner gave us a warm welcome and personal service, and the food was delicious. Our room opened onto a balcony overlooking a lush courtyard, and each room has its own tasteful decor. There’s vintage art and antiques everywhere, along with interesting wallpaper, chandeliers, fans, old-fashioned furniture, and more. At 75, I felt like I was visiting my grandparents’ home. It’s a cozy, quaint place on Main Street in the heart of Clarence, with a peaceful, slower-paced feel. I’d happily recommend it.
