The front desk employee who greeted me was attentive, polite, helpful, and resourceful. Beyond that, though, the stay was awful. The room looked disgusting: the toilet and shower hadn't been cleaned, and there were other areas that made me wonder whether I should sleep there at all. Even the elevator was filthy, with smudges and debris on the buttons. I stay at a lot of Comfort hotels, and this was by far my most disturbing and disrespectful experience. The front desk staff weren't the problem. The people responsible for cleaning the rooms were. I hope management takes a close look at this property.

The location beside tombstones gave the hotel an uncomfortable feel, especially after dark. That won't matter to everyone, but it affected my stay. Inside, there were more serious concerns: the smoke detector in our room hung by a wire, a towel was dirty, and bugs were inside the ceiling light. The elevator seemed poorly maintained and unsafe, so I avoided it when I could. The staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help, and the cook was kind too. The food was good. Management needs to address the maintenance and cleanliness issues, since good staff can't make up for safety concerns.

We checked out after just two hours. The mattress had black spots, and the pullout couch and its mattress were marked with yellow and black stains. The room was very dusty, the fridge hadn't been cleaned, and there was hair all over the shower. I asked about switching rooms, but the front desk employee checked another one and said it wasn't suitable either. Other guests came down asking for bath towels; they also said the pool was cold and there was mold in another room. My original booking was for four days, but management has refused a refund and says I never checked out or reported the problems, even though I did. Don't stay here.

The room was clean and fresh, and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, too. At check-in, the front desk woman was warm and friendly, and gave us helpful dining suggestions. Everyone on staff was great. We stayed one night while passing through, and really appreciated the hospitality. ✨️
