Frank and his crew made our Christmas stay feel so welcoming. Frank checked us in himself and kept checking on us, and the cottage was cute, thoughtfully decorated, and stocked with little homey touches like coffee and laundry detergent. His property is beautiful, and he's done the work himself. There are rooms, cottages, a teepee, a yurt, and a treehouse coming soon. My only suggestion is a little more privacy around the cottage hot tub. We'll definitely stay with Frank again.

We found the place on Booking at an affordable rate and booked just five minutes before arriving for a quick night. Frank, the owner, was helpful and gave us lots of information. The cabin was comfortable, and in the morning he let us look around the glamping options, the teepee and yurt. It was a short visit, but I'd consider coming back for longer.

The cabins were just what I needed for a peaceful break. Frank keeps the place clean, cozy, and in good shape, and it felt surprisingly like home. I had a great stay from start to finish and will be back soon. I'd recommend it if you're looking for somewhere to stay.

Frank was a gracious host and happy to help with anything we needed. After a full day exploring, we liked unwinding by the fire pit. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a visit to the Clayton area. Glad we found Mountain Aire Cottages & Inn. We enjoyed the stay and will definitely return.

It was quiet and comfortable here, even though town, restaurants, and shopping are only minutes away. The fire pit area is open to all guests, and the rooms are clean with everything working. Frank is upgrading the property himself, with some help, and has added a beautiful yurt and teepee that both looked very comfortable. He showed us our fishing themed trout room, and another room decorated all in an America theme. Our welcome sign had my name and wifey's on it. Frank gave us a friendly greeting, showed us how the AC and heat remote worked, pointed out the TV guide channel, and told us to ask if we needed anything. The sweetest black cat, midnight, greeted us with meows and purrs on the porch when we arrived. We had a nice chat with Frank too. This was a better deal than anywhere else in town, including the Dillard House. We've stayed at plenty of places in Clayton, but from now on it'll be Mountain Air for us.
