Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Clearlake Wine Country

I’ve been coming back for nearly 15 years, usually with friends or family. The dock and parking lot are well lit, which makes the place feel safe. Yogi and Nikki are great hosts and take care of problems or concerns right away. I’d recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed in August and wouldn’t come back. They insisted we take down our review and replace it with a positive one. They also kept knocking as if they were the police while we were trying to shower, when I had no clothes on. We were overcharged and ripped off, too. Lamplighter is a WAY BETTER MOTEL THAN THESE PEOPLE!!! If you’re choosing between them, go to Lamplighter. ✌🏻

The staff were helpful and friendly the whole time, and the room service was excellent. I found the rooms comfortable and clean, and this felt like one of the more secure motels in the area. I had a great stay and would definitely come back.

The lake is pretty, at least, and the table and chairs in the room were nice. The TV worked fine too. But they advertise breakfast on both their website and Google, and there wasn’t any. The room was dingy and worn, with a slightly strange smell. The beds were okay for a night or two, though not comfortable, and the sheets seemed dirty. There were a couple of bugs in the bathroom. The appliances were old and partly broken, and the carpet outside on the walkway was really weird. The hard floor inside was easier to keep clean, sort of. The area felt a bit sketchy. When we tried to go to the store, two strangers started fighting right in front of the entrance. I’d look for another place first, but if you have to stay here, it’s not awful.
