Clarion Inn & Suites Central Clearwater Beach

We've stayed here four times as a family and love it. The front desk is very polite, and the pool is huge with a kiddie pool, plus a nice hot tub. Room cleanliness could use some work, though. A few rooms seemed rushed. I used to work in housekeeping, so I'm always checking for dust, dirt and that sort of thing.

Marcy helped me at check-in and was accommodating, a real asset to the staff. The complimentary hot breakfast was great, and the onsite restaurant had a nice menu at good prices. Our room was comfortable. It looked like they were wrapping up some nice lobby updates. Thanks for a great stay!

We'd definitely stay here again if we're in the area. It's central to everything, the staff are friendly, and our spacious room was very clean and quiet. We had neighbors next door but didn't hear them. The beds were super comfortable and the towels soft. They're remodeling and updating now, but it didn't disrupt our stay at all. The TV remote wasn't working at first; I checked the plugs and fixed it. One small heads-up: the toilet sits very low, which was awkward for my husband and me, since we're 6'4" and 5'9". It didn't ruin the stay.

My husband and I live less than a mile away, but needed a room for a few days while work was being done on our home. I looked at and called a few places and wasn't impressed, then spotted Clarion Inn & Suites while driving past and called them. The front desk girl wasn't sure about my question, but said she'd ask her manager and call back. The manager did call and talk it through with me. That customer service won us over. We loved the stay: it was quiet, nice, and handy for shopping and restaurants. We could have gone home Thursday afternoon, but chose to stay through Friday morning. I'll definitely recommend it to family and friends.
