Quality Inn

I don’t like leaving reviews, but this experience deserves one. I’d booked here before because I play billiard events in the area. Two days after booking, the event was canceled and moved to the following weekend, which I couldn’t attend because of work. I called right away. The guy who usually answers told me I’d be charged for the full stay. When I said that seemed unfair, he got stern and repeated that I would be charged. I told him I wasn’t canceling yet and wanted to ask Choice Hotels whether they could help. As soon as I hung up, I got a charge alert. It wasn’t even my check-in day yet. I’m pretty sure that’s a no-go in the hotel business. They’ve lost a lot of customers from my area who usually stay here. We’ll take our money somewhere customers are valued and treated fairly. This is an awful establishment.

The place looked nice, but the service was awful. I booked a king bed and was put in a full, which was upsetting and uncomfortable since I’m a big guy. The only things the guy told me were that he needed a deposit and that smoking wasn’t allowed. Other places give me a quick rundown of check-in and check-out times, breakfast, and so on. He didn’t. I booked with rewards, and it made me feel like I was being treated as if I were broke. I wanted to extend my stay because of the winter storm, but I won’t book here again. I don’t expect good service anyway.

The staff were so helpful, and our room was clean. We had a wonderful stay, and I’d highly recommend this hotel.

There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the hotel has great access to them. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of delicious options.
