The desk clerks were friendly and helpful, and the person serving breakfast was cheerful and polite. I'd stay again, but if anyone spoke to me that rudely again, I'd report it to corporate right away. My wife and I came on motorcycles hoping for a quiet evening. Half the freshly repaved lot was blocked, so I asked whether we could park the bikes out front. The desk clerk said yes, then another woman, possibly the night manager, came out and snapped, “You can’t park there!” She explained that section wasn't open yet, but her tone was offensive and unnecessarily harsh. She could have explained the policy respectfully. After reading other reviews, I get the impression the owners don't care that some employees are rude to customers.

I've been here for work for a couple of months and couldn't be happier with everyone, from the owner to the cleaning staff. Comfort Inn Clemson will be my first choice whenever I'm in the area.

We were exhausted and I just wanted to get some rest, so I didn't want to argue. But the way this man treated us really made me angry. I don't know if he's a manager, but he needs to fix his attitude. When we pulled up with a trailer, a rude, heavyset man yelled to ask if we were going to park it there. I said yes, because how else would we park, and he said we couldn't because a bus was coming. We explained we'd unload the truck on the trailer and my husband would park it. He said he'd tell us where to park, but didn't ask us to follow him, so we went to the desk to check in. He came into the lobby rolling his eyes and saying he'd been going to show us. My husband followed him, and I stayed behind. He told my husband he would have had us towed, even though we were hotel guests and had a right to park there.

We've made seven visits over the past year to see our daughter at Clemson, and the front desk knew my last name this time. The location is really convenient. Rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are super nice. The hot breakfast has been very good and consistent each time.
