We stayed at the Clifford House a couple of weeks ago while visiting our son in Cleveland. The house was lovely, with beautiful decor, and the host was wonderful and easy to work with. Thanks, Jim, for doing so much to accommodate us. Hope we can come back soon! ❤️

Staying with Jim, Henry the dog, and Connie the cat felt like being with family. It’s a great house in a great location, with a wonderful host and an amazing full breakfast. Many good restaurants, Mitchell's ice cream, the Westside Market, and the baseball stadium are all within walking distance. We plan to come again next year. Thanks, Jim, for making the stay the best ever!

Henry the dog is a sweetheart, and Jim is a thoughtful host who’s glad to talk if you’re interested. He’s had a full life and has plenty of experiences and opinions to share. The house is an older place with charm, and it feels lived in, repairs and all. This is a real neighborhood in an American city, not Colonial Williamsburg, so don’t expect lace doilies or high tea. Do expect a clean room, a very good breakfast, and a host who knows Cleveland and can tell you a lot about it.

We were in Cleveland for a tense time, but Jim helped make it feel relaxing, and my husband is healing well. Clifford House is a block from Lutheran Hospital, with amazing restaurants and the market easy to reach on foot. Breakfast was fit for a queen, with china, fresh ground coffee, and organic fruits and veggies in our omelet. Jim has a heart of gold. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Cleveland, this B&B is hard to beat.

Henry the dog is beyond adorable, and the house has so much character. Our room was spacious and cozy, with everything we needed. Jim was an amazing host and made us a fantastic breakfast every morning. We’ll definitely come back, and I couldn’t recommend the place more.
