We were here because of an emergency near the Cleveland clinic. The front desk was helpful at first, but didn't tell housekeeping about our second night, even though I called twice, once overnight and again early in the morning. Before checkout, housekeeping came very early and threw away all the food and drinks we'd bought at their market kiosk. When I went to the desk at 1 p.m. to renew our keys, there wasn't even an apology, just “oh, they already cleaned the room.” Those snacks and drinks are marked way up and cost as much as the room. They didn't offer to replace anything.

At 1:30 a.m. I woke up in room 829 and found bedbugs. Photos attached. I reported that and the broken amenities, but staff did nothing and never followed up. The TV and remote didn't work either. Getting service took 10 minutes, and the staff were rude and dismissive despite being welcoming at first. Room 829 had a confirmed bedbug infestation. Do not stay here.

The last straw was spoiled milk from the breakfast bar. My stomach has felt wrong ever since, and I wish I could give this place zero stars. We'd stayed two nights and booked a third because my wife was having surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. The staff were reasonably friendly, but the place was a mess and our rooms were poorly cleaned. The TV didn't work, and they blamed us for “pushing the buttons to fast.” Then the furnace fan got ridiculously loud, and they brushed us off, saying we'd set it too high. Maintenance found an actual problem. While I watched him try to fix it, we had to ask to be moved because nobody on staff was going to take charge and do that.

The location is a little unusual, though not bad, and works well if you're here for a few specific reasons. Parking is in a private garage, but $22.50 a night feels obscene when the hotel isn't downtown. Those are the two reasons I took off a star. This was my second or third visit, and the service has been phenomenal each time. The front desk team was friendly and helped adjust my room to suit my needs. The rooms and other common areas are clean and nice, and the lobby is pleasant and relaxing. Breakfast is... a continental breakfast.

The free shuttle to Cleveland Clinic is handy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing, and I highly recommend the hotel!
