Kristin's treatment at check-in in April 2026 left me furious and overshadowed the rest of my stay. I felt racially profiled by her, and her words and conduct seemed biased toward people with a certain physical appearance. She also told me a hotel policy that I later believed was untrue, which felt especially deceitful toward military guests and families. Afterward, she acted as if nothing had happened, using excessive greetings and small talk. During the next few weeks, I saw her interact with others and found her phony and passive aggressive. I don't think she should be dealing with travelers, and her coworkers should be wary of her too. She is unprofessional and not an asset to the hotel. I've been a Hilton Honors member for years and have traveled extensively with my military family. For 15 years Hilton has been my go-to hotel brand, and before this I had never had a bad check-in at a Hilton. The property itself is quite nice, and some staff are very kind and helpful, but I wouldn't trust Kristin.

After we checked out, the hotel charged us $150 for damage to a drawer, even though we had reported its condition to staff during our stay. When we called, they said housekeeping and maintenance thought we had kicked it. The drawer already had around eight nails and screws in it, with chipped wood and holes, but they brushed that concern aside and wouldn't discuss it reasonably. We were there for a tournament while the property was being renovated. The room initially looked nice, but the bathroom towel rack came off the wall when I tried to hang a towel, and the front of the drawer under the sink fell off. During the horse race, people cheered at the close finish and a woman from the front desk came over shouting that we had to be quiet, without caring why we were cheering. I'm a Silver member and usually stay at Hilton at least two weekends a month. Our group books at least 13 rooms for two or more days, so this experience has left me appalled and angry. There are much better places within walking distance. We won't use this Clifton Park hotel again, and this has made us want to avoid Hilton too.

The breakfast stood out, with more choices than I usually see, including fruit salad, overnight oats, and an egg taco bar. The workout room is great too. The hotel is being remodeled right now.

CJ showed us so much care, and Robin in the kitchen was a real sweetheart. Karen and Wendy from housekeeping were amazing, too. The front desk team, Kristen, Ashley, Olivia, Donna, and Jay, were all gems. Everyone was so sweet to me and my family and made our stay feel warm, comfortable, and welcoming. Thank you all ❤️

I won't stay here again after the deposit problem. I booked and paid for my stay, including tax, in the Hilton app, but the hotel also required a deposit at check-in and said it would be returned after checkout. I still haven't received it for any of the four nights I stayed, Jan 1-3 and Jan 4-6. Staff were polite and the service was good, but I was told the refund could take up to a month. My bank said deposits usually take no more than 3-5 business days. I also saw different tax and charge amounts in the app and on the hotel receipt, which was confusing and didn't feel transparent. Future guests should be careful about the deposit.
