I spent a week here and it turned out to be a good choice. The room was so large I got jealous of it, the bed was extremely soft, almost like memory foam, and the price came in lower than I'd expected. I can't speak for the other rooms, though.

We agreed there are better places we've stayed, though we've also been somewhere much worse. I went with my daughter and granddaughter, 02/28/25-03/02/25, and we found the rooms clean but dated. The bathrooms especially need remodeling, those blue toilets and tubs look way out of date. We didn't see any sign of bedbugs.

The rooms are clean and spacious, and for the price I felt comfortable and welcome. The guys here are awesome, really understanding, and willing to work with you.

We ended up here at night because the other places in Decatur were either booked up or charging more than $200 for one night. This was the only hotel we could find for $70 a night, and the room was much nicer than we expected. The staff were really helpful and kind. There's also a gas station right next door, open until midnight, with fresh food and lots of useful things. I'd highly recommend it if you need somewhere to stay around here.
