Kelley & Young Wine Garden Inn

Alison is a great cook, and breakfast was amazing every day. Our room was cute, clean, and very comfortable, and the whole place felt beautiful and cozy. The location worked well for us, pretty central for getting around town. We’ll be back!

The garden and chicken coop, along with all the spots to sit outside and relax, made the grounds lovely. Inside, the bedrooms and common areas have original furniture and tasteful decor. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, and you can see how much pride the owners take in preserving the character of this 1901 home. It’s been beautifully restored and was very clean. Alison was helpful when we arrived and checked in later to make sure we had everything we needed. The next morning she made a fabulous breakfast that all the guests devoured. We were very impressed with our first visit and will stay at the Pinschower Inn again when we’re in the area.

We loved this place so much that my friend and her husband have already returned. The house is gorgeous, in a lovely small town and just a short drive from the wineries. The owners and staff were welcoming, professional, and polite. Breakfast was amazing, the welcome wine tasty, and our wine-pairing tasting was to die for. We spent evenings on the porch sipping wine and playing cards. The little garden and chickens were a great touch, and I appreciated having several breakfast sittings and private tables.

Alison hosted us for two nights in the Simon tower room. One breakfast was so generous that she packed up half for our lunch, and both breakfasts were excellent. The grounds are lovely, and the cats and chickens are a bonus. There’s hardly any traffic noise. Our room was above the intersection, but we slept fine with the window open even though we’re sensitive to noise. We love the quirks of old Victorians, the squeaky floors and stairs, and all the wonderful woodwork. We’ll have to find another reason to come back to Cloverdale so we can stay at The Pinschower again. Thanks for the hospitality.
