For one night, it was fine. The room was basic and clean for a great price. There were a few minor maintenance and quality issues, but it had been cleaned and everything worked. Just set your expectations for a simple place, not a Hilton or BestWestern Elite.

It was clean and quiet, and the staff were polite and professional. The basic breakfast had fruit, pastries, cereal, and similar things, but I was rushing at checkout and didn't try any. Good value for what I needed, and I'd stay again while passing through on a road trip.

I arrived late, at 12:30 a.m., after letting the hotel know, and check-in went smoothly. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast, especially the muffin, fruit, and coffee. The one hiccup came at 9:45 a.m. when I returned to my room and my key no longer worked. I had to go back to the desk to get it reissued. Since I was only a few rooms away, it wasn't a big deal, though it would've been inconvenient from the far end of the hotel or the second floor. I recommend staying here.

We left before 7 a.m. after using the motel just for the night, and I'm glad it was only a brief stop. The neighborhood felt incredibly sketchy, with several abandoned buildings right beside the property. Our room wasn't clean, with hair all over the bathroom and strange stains on the wall and even the TV. The exit nearest our room wouldn't lock. On our way out, a homeless man inside the building accosted us and asked for money. You get what you pay for here. If you're after somewhere remotely nice, I'd look closer to the historic district.
