I travel here for work often and would like to stay again, but I'm not sure I can put what happened out of my mind. In all my 20 years of work travel, I'd never had anything taken from my room before. I stayed 11 nights. The housekeeper who cleaned it denied taking my property, and it was never recovered. The front desk staff and property manager seemed truly concerned and apologized; the manager kindly reimbursed me for its value. I can forgive the woman who stole from me, but lying and stealing something worth $50 isn't worth the criminal consequences. She has a nice place to work and wonderful coworkers, and should be grateful. The hotel itself is nice and generally well kept. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, the lobby bar is convenient after work and has decent drinks and wings, and the workout room is well equipped. My bed was quite firm and not very comfortable, and the pillows were flat. Hopefully the other rooms are better.

It's about 10 minutes off the I5, but the extra time was worth it. Best Western Plus Coalinga was clean, orderly, and clearly well run, with huge rooms, comfortable beds, and sheets that smelled great. Breakfast was generous, but the people were the highlight. Maria has been the manager since it opened eight years ago, and you can tell she cares. She said the staff are friends, enjoy working there, and feel supported by the owner. Most live nearby and take real pride in the hotel and their work. Everyone seemed genuinely happy, and it made a difference. A great quick overnight stop on our road trip.

Our beagles were welcome at this pet-friendly hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was hot and simple but a nice way to start the day, and the staff were friendly.

We only stayed one night while visiting family, but we'll come back when we're in town. The room was more spacious than I expected, comfortable, and new.

The rooms were really comfortable, and Amy the bartender made our stay special. I felt like Norm at Cheers.
