The river behind the property was absolutely beautiful, and there was a nice picnic table outside where we could eat. Parking was plentiful, and check-in and checkout were easy. There was a coffee cart at reception and a vending machine, though no free breakfast or other amenities. I noticed stains on the ceiling, and the peephole had been painted over, so we couldn't see who was knocking. Those things kept me from giving it a 5, even though the place was clean. I'd recommend it.

We had two bottles of water in the room, and pet-friendly rooms are available for an extra $30 if you bring a pet. But for the $145 Saturday rate, I thought the room quality was a bit pricey. The shower took ages to warm up. My husband had about ten minutes of cold water before it started heating, and I showered after him. The pillows smelled like armpits, and there was only one bath towel for the two of us.

Parking was easy, and the motel was in a quiet, convenient spot close to everything I needed. I slept well, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the staff were friendly and helpful from check-in through checkout. For the price, it was better than I expected. I'd gladly come back and recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable, hassle-free place to stay.

The area is quiet and not too busy, with places to sit outside and have a picnic, and it was lovely to go for walks. My room and bathroom were clean. The website says some rooms are bigger and better, so have a look at those when booking. There’s a cheap laundry room, handy for a quick load that costs under $5. We also had water and utensils in the room when we arrived, plus a mini fridge and microwave. The TV was a Roku, so you can stream your favorite apps. Coffee, creamer, and sugar are free too. It’s a cozy, family-run place, and the service was amazing. Great price for a safe, affordable, quiet vacation spot.
