The owner was so kind and quick to help whenever we needed him. Expedia hadn't sent the self check-in email, so I called, and he rang back a few minutes later with all the instructions. He also shared some hiking ideas. Later, when our cabin's water wouldn't get hot, he came over straight away, explained the heater needed repairs, and moved us to a larger, really lovely cabin. The first one was cozy too, and after the switch everything went smoothly. Both cabins were clean and had what we needed to cook. We were there to explore and hike with my husband, and the spot worked well for that, with trails near Winona and Alma. There's also water nearby and a dock. A great stay.

We had a pleasant weekend with the family just after Memorial Weekend. Being able to fish from the private dock was a real treat. The place was quaint, clean, and well cared for, and we'd gladly come back. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Buck had a good time on the screened porch, and I was impressed with the cabin. It was a beautiful rustic place, just steps from the Mississippi River, and pets are welcome. We stayed one night.

Greg was a great host, and our camper was comfy and very clean. The spot feels quiet and tucked away, though there's still plenty to do within an hour's drive.

The Mississippi River setting is beautiful, and watching the sunsets has become part of our nightly routine. We come back twice a year to our home away from home. It's comfortable and clean, and the owners are friendly and always helpful. There's fishing, boating, and family fun, with lots to do in nearby towns along the Great River Road. Thanks, Greg & Tara!
