The Drift

We brought our small dog when we visited in June, and everything worked out beautifully. The place is well managed and tastefully decorated, with beds that are comfortable and everything exceptionally clean. The appliances, beach gear, and cleaning products were all thoughtfully placed, which made our visit easy and comfortable. Management was really responsive too. We love it so much that we hesitate to stay anywhere else.

We were really shaken and disappointed. We made sure the door was locked before leaving for the day, but when we got back in the evening, the front door was ajar. We contacted management about the faulty lock and security issue, but they kept saying it was 'user error' and wouldn't take responsibility. It's terrifying to come back to an open hotel door and then be blamed for a mechanical problem they refuse to fix. They offered no immediate fix or refund, so we felt unsafe and stranded and ended up booking another hotel at the last minute. Do not stay here if your safety or professional customer service matters to you.

Very clean, recently renovated bungalow, with plenty of towels, sheets, and beach towels. The bed topper was handy for making the bed softer, and the couch cushions can be used to make an extra sleeping space in the living room. The kitchen looked well stocked, though we didn't cook. The AC works great if you leave the bedroom doors open. It's a five-minute walk to the beach, partly along the shoulder of a sometimes busy road. There's no lifeguard. New beach chairs, umbrellas, and wagons are provided. We left two new boogie boards to add to the two already there. We had hot but breezy weather, and the great place worked well for 4-5 people. ❤️

The host office was quick to respond whenever we had questions or needed anything. Our unit was squeaky clean and beautifully furnished, with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen was immaculate, and there's a nearby Publix if you need groceries. It was also a short walk to the beach and restaurants, and we were absolutely delighted with the place.
